The distribution service operates with a team of 8 to 14 people on call. The City of Montreal is the main customer of Atelier Majuscule's door-to-door distribution service. We distribute Work Notices to citizens of the city's 19 boroughs.

Mandate

  • Plan daily door-to-door distribution service activities based on orders received;
  • Supervise the distribution team at Atelier Majuscule and on distribution sites;
  • Ensure daily monitoring of orders in conjunction with the distribution teams, production management and the various services and resources responsible for orders at the City of Montreal.

Main responsibilities

  • Plan the distribution day according to the orders received, the urban areas concerned and the quantities of notices to be distributed;
  • Supervise the distribution teams and provide the necessary equipment;
  • Ensure that distributors do their work in compliance with health and safety rules as well as the Quebec road safety code;
  • With team leaders, decide on the best strategies to get through the days;
  • Ensure monitoring of the management of the distribution service;
  • Lead teams and ensure vehicle maintenance;
  • Also distribute door-to-door notices to residents of different neighborhoods in Montreal;
  • Exercise leadership with the aim of maintaining a spirit of collaboration in the team;
  • Be able to perform work in different weather conditions (bonus during weather warnings);
  • Get involved in company life (e.g.: team meetings and reviews, special events);
  • Join continuing education;
  • Carry out certain additional tasks (e.g. deliveries, purchases, etc.).

Required profile

  • Be in good physical shape
  • Possess a valid driving license

Training required : DEC or equivalent

Terms

  • Two-year contract with possibility of extension, 35 hours per week
  • Hourly rate: According to the salary policy $19.97 to $24.30 / hour + weather bonus + clothing bonus + weekend bonus
  • Three weeks of vacation upon hiring, holiday closure leave, sick days and special leave for work-family-personal life balance;
  • Group insurance (after 6 months) and retirement plan (after 3 months) at work;
  • Six-month probation period;
  • Desired entry into office: As soon as possible
